Victorian Vampire
In October 2025 we had the pleasure to be photographer on an amazing Dark Allure – Photo Workshop with Fine Art Photographer Candice Ghai and Brand Photographer Sanjay N. Patel (Eleven ATX Creatives) at “The Budio”, a Photostudio in Buda, TX.
The Artists / Hosts / Models:

Candice Ghai is a professional Fine Art Photographer from Austin. Her works themed in fashion, history and especially mysteries, are published in Magazines (among others PhotoVogue, VOGUE ITALIA, or Bizarre Magazine) and won awards for exceptional quality and impact.
Sanjay N. Patel is a Commercial and Brand Photographer and Design Creative from Austin, TX. He produces Hollywood quality works for clients like USAA, DELL, ALCON, SPRINT, or KEURIG, for example Product photos, websites for movies and or book covers. He is super detailed and a perfectionist, and so was working with him.
Kristina Kendrick was the Model on Workshop “Victorian Vampire”. She is besides Modeling a Miami-based Mixed media artist and Sales & Marketing consultant.
Celina-Marie Kuehne was our photographer on this event and captured amazing images.
The Workshop
“Who is ready for spooky, imaginative fun this Halloween season?” – that was the invitation for a combination of Halloween party and exclusive photo-shoot on October 18, 2025 in “the Budio” in Buda, TX, a new and modern Photo- and Video Studio.
The event was limited to 6 Photographers so that everyone could get time to exclusively shoot with the model. Sanjay coordinated the light setup and organization while Candice was the creative supporter and director.
The scenery on “Victorian Vampire” was created matching the theme in a red / brown /dark Setup and Kristina Kendrick was the perfect Model. Her look and acting reminded of movie scenes and it was easy to work with her. In the tree rounds with varying props and outfits we could create photos in different styles and impressions.
This workshop was a great experience as well as a good network and collaboration option. We met not only the great hosts and models but also a few photographers and producers from the local Media scene, got insights in professional planning, organizing, and implementation of professional Photo shoots, learned new techniques and approaches, and had a lot of fun. It was also a great experience to work with fire and smoke, to use matching props and to set-up different sets and scenes in the same Set-up with minimal effort but to great effect.
We loved the good cooperation and the unique atmosphere and getting great and uncommon photos for the portfolio.

Behind the scenes…
yes, things were quite fun back there too. There was lots of laughter, good conversations, snacks and drinks, a costume contest, and new contacts and inspiration.
